Above all, Redwoods has not forgotten the reason why we came into being in the first place: that is to “Serve Others”. So as our business continues to grow, we are also conscious that prosperity brings responsibility. Accordingly, we’ve worked to advance the important agenda of The National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures Program and the New York Health and Hospitals Corporation City Smiles campaign. We also make financial contributions to support the YMCA teen, safety and program expansion initiatives. As important, our employees and their families have spent many hours of donated company time swinging hammers for Habitat for Humanity. There is always more work to be done, and we have a deep commitment to community service at the core of our mission.

Social Audit
In order to continually assess and improve our performance, each year we ask students from the Hart Leadership Center at Duke University to spend some time with us and provide us with recommendations for improvement to our social mission. This report, our “Social Audit”, is a permanent element of our annual report to shareholders.
