The “Dollars for Doers” Program matches the hours employees volunteer with grants from Redwoods to the organizations where they volunteer their time. In other words, by demonstrating significant engagement in volunteerism, Redwoods will make a donation to the employee’s favorite nonprofit organization or charity. Volunteers may earn up to $300 in corporate cash contributions each year or possibly earn other incentive items or awards. The “Dollars for Doers” Program only considers volunteer hours that are conducted outside of standard business hours (i.e., evenings and weekends).
