The Redwoods Group was featured on North Carolina Public Radio, WUNC 91.5 FM in a story on Social Entrepreneurship in the Triangle. The segment was written by Redwoods' former intern and Duke University graduate, Meenakshi Chivukula. She was chosen to participate in the Next Generation Radio 2007 project, sponsored by North Carolina Public Radio and National Public Radio.

The project gave students interested in radio and journalism the opportunity to report and produce their own story, guided by WUNC reporters.
