The Redwoods Group sees the safety of children at YMCAs across the country as our unique responsibility – one we take very seriously. Part of that responsibility is to help keep parents informed about the dangers of child abuse.

We are providing you with a brochure for download that discusses the various types of abuse, what Ys do to prevent it, and what red flags your parents need to watch for in children. This brochure is a Microsoft Word document that is completely customizable for your YMCA. Specifically, be sure to look for and complete all sections with bracketed type and/or contact information. Once you have updated the document to reflect your Ys unique characteristics, you should print copies to provide to parents of children in your programs.
