• Claims Management - by The Redwoods
YMCA claims professionals, a staff who only works with YMCAs,
and builds on the many years of experience our program has
in handling YMCA claims. This experience allows us to understand
the value of a claim and provide the YMCA with profound
insight.
• 24 hour Crisis Hotline - As your risk management
partner, we are available 24 hours a day to assist you in
real-time crisis management support. All you need to do
is call 877-590-4678 and one of our YMCA team managers will
be in touch with you within 30 minutes. We will help you
talk to media representatives, make sure you have taken
the proper steps to control the emergency situation, and,
if necessary, be at your YMCA the next day.
• Progress Reports - for all of
your claims in suit or with reserves in excess of $25,000
will be prepared by Redwoods and sent to you and your agent
every 90 days, or in the event of any significant developments.
• Immediate Response to Accidents - will be made
and if an injured party is to be contacted, the contact
will be made within 24 hours of receipt of a notice of loss
or incident report. We recognize that your claimants are
many times your members and in order to help you keep your
members satisfied, we will be responsive and courteous.
• Claim Reviews - will be conducted by Redwoods.
We will review as many claims as necessary throughout the
policy period. This means that we will provide a report
on a regular basis and visit with you to roundtable claims.
We seek your guidance and input with complicated claims
and we want you to know how each claim is progressing.
• Settlements - We will notify you and your agent
in advance of settling any claim for an amount of $25,000
or more. We realize that these are large amounts of money
and the YMCA has an image to maintain in the community.
If there is a large settlement of a claim we want you to
have every opportunity to notify your Board or appropriate
members of your community.
We are committed to stabilizing the insurance costs of
the YMCA while increasing the overall quality of the insurance
program. We look forward to working with your YMCA and developing
an ongoing business relationship.
