Workers’ Compensation Program
Redwoods’ proactive, service-oriented Workers’ Compensation Program for YMCAs ensures quality claims management and timely medical care for injured employees. Our dedicated national claims staff and in-house Case Management Specialist work with all parties to help injured employees remain in or return to the workplace as quickly as possible.
Abuse and Molestation
We provide all YMCAs in our program with at least $1 million
of abuse and molestation coverage. At all times, your YMCA
will be covered for and defended against any liability involving
these type of allegations.
Medical Payment Coverage up to $10,000
With your involvement, we help you avoid lawsuits by paying
claimants for minor injuries incurred on YMCA premises.
This includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from
athletics, camp and day-care programs.
Property Damage
We provide exceptionally broad property damage coverage,
including "blanket" coverage to accurately reflect
the activities of your YMCA.
Risk Management Services
Our risk management services are specifically designed for
YMCAs, are included in our pricing, and are the hallmark
of The Redwoods Group Insurance Program for YMCAs. We'll
integrate our insight and expertise with your management
team by:
• Developing a series of risk management workshops for
your executive staff
• Training your staff on hiring practices, child abuse prevention,
camp counseling, and safe driving
• Conducting an annual risk management assessment, regular
site visits, incident analysis and claims reviews
