We believe that the only way to have a systemic impact on safety is to work with changemaking partner organizations, who can help spread transformational safety solutions across the country.
YMCAs catalyze the local implementation work for our safety initiatives. Their local relationships, hard-working staff and commitments to healthy living, youth development and social responsibility make them into community leaders and powerful advocates for child safety in their service areas.
Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children training is the only nationally distributed and evidence based child sexual abuse prevention training for adults. Their content is inspirational and impactful, and their expertise on the issue of child sexual abuse has helped us bring their critically important information to more adults across the country.
The USA Swimming Foundation is a leader in preventing drownings at their root cause, by making it possible for more children to have the opportunity to learn to swim. Their commitment to spreading access to this skill saves lives and we are grateful for their shared interest in the impact of swimming outside of the water as well. The USA Swimming Foundation, in partnership with us, is assessing the impact of learning to swim on a child's academic success and overall development. We are thrilled to be a USA Swimming Foundation Affiliate Partner, and to be guiding this shared effort to deepen our understanding of learning to swim's impact.
Our work is only possible through the support and generosity of individuals, corporations and philanthropic institutions. We're grateful for the support of the following people and organizations:
Our work would not be possible without our founding company. The Redwoods business is not just our largest funder, their data about safety, expertise in the practice of social entrepreneurship and relationships with other changemakers have been the foundation upon which our efforts have been built. They also provide donated professional staff time to help our organization focus our attention on our mission. Our Foundation is yet another example of the many ways that Redwoods serves others, and as a result of the business' ability to provide increased financial resources following the acquisition by Crum & Forster, we no longer need to raise funds from others to sustain our work.
